About me

I come from a family of painters. From early childhood I was surrounded by paintings of otherworldly beings and apocalyptic landscapes. Initially, I sought to find my place in social pedagogy and community work. I studied Diaconia at the Protestant Theological Faculty and completed programmes focused on art therapy and experiential self-exploration. For many years, my focus was on providing psychosocial support to children and adults coping with various forms of psychological or physical distress, such as separation from parents or rehabilitation following acquired brain injury. Over time, however, I felt an increasingly strong pull towards my own creative work.

At the heart of my practice lies a deep connection to the landscape, expressed through wandering, dreaming, and contemplating the beauty of nature. I am interested in ways of translating my perception of the world into visual form, intertwining what I see with my inner vision. I work with watercolour and experiment with inks made from plants. I enjoy plein air painting and  feel a strong affinity with a meditative approach to art. Over the course of years, my artistic journey has been guided by teachers at Ateliér Praga Prima. My favourite subjects are the forests, fields, and wetlands of the Počátky region. I am also inspired by other landscapes and environments, such as the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains, as well as Prague’s historic districts, with their cultural and spiritual landmarks and parks.

A selection of my paintings can be viewed in my portfolio. I have presented these and other works in a number of exhibitions, and some of my works are currently available for sale. For a few years, I also devoted myself more intensively to photography, commissioned work, and illustration.

In my courses and workshops, I create space for playfulness, moments of stillness, and exploration of personal life stories and dreams. If you are looking for a guide to help you discover your own creative expression, wish to deepen your relationship with the sacredness of nature through painting, learn to see the world with wonder, or share this way of seeing with your children, I would be happy to accompany you on this journey.

It is an honour to collaborate with the Jeleni nelení studio and to be a patron of the Alej roku (Alley of the Year) poll.
